I’m not exaggerating when I say that these cookies are to
die for. Okay, well maybe a little. I probably wouldn’t throw myself off a
cliff for them..but I do consider these the best cookies I have ever made/eaten.
The other day was my last day of nursing placement at the hospital
(hoorah!) and I decided it would be nice to make something for the fellow
nurses as a thank-you gift. If I have learnt anything on placement it would be
that nurses like to eat. I figured these cookies would be the perfect thing to
bring. In the morning I baked a batch (well, two batches…if I’m baking cookies I’m
going to save some for myself *snaps fingers*) and then brought them to
placement. I was 10 minutes into my shift when a nurse took me aside and said “Those
cookies are amazing!! You must tell me the recipe!”. It’s safe to say they were
a success. All the nurses raved on about them.
I decided it was only appropriate I’d share them on. They
are none other than Tanya Burr’s infamous cookie recipe! Here is the link to
the recipe: http://www.tanyaburr.co.uk/?blog=blogs/archive/2015/05/02/my.chocolate.cookie.recipe.aspx
If you’re in need of a winter warmer, a way to
procrastinate, something to bake for someone..then make these because you won’t
be disappointed. The best thing about this recipe are the chocolate pieces as
they’re hard on the outside but gooey on the inside.
Anyway I hope you all give this recipe a go because your life will be changed. I'd go on and on about them..but I think it's just best you bake them and see the magic for yourself.
Hope you're all having a great week, i'm currently completing a 50% case study which is an absolute bore. Would much rather be watching the latest Made In Chelsea episodes *sighs*. If you make these cookies or have made them let me know if you agree :)
