Blairs style was mine (and every girls) inspiration. Suddenly everyone started wearing headbands and patterned tights. It was feminine and classy. Even though Gossip Girl started in 2007 and finished in 2012 her style still remains timeless.

How classy she was

Blair just held so much class. She didn't swear, she didn't wear tops with plunging necklines or shorts showcasing half her bottom, and she didn't go out and get drunk often. A good example to girls on how to hold yourself in a elegant manner.

Her makeup

Blair was mostly always simple and understated. No thick foundations, no heavy mascara, no overdrawn eyebrows and no harsh contouring. She just wore a thin base, a little mascara, a light blush, and lipgloss. Heck, writing about it is making me want to return to ultra natural makeup again. She was a definite natural beauty.

She was a good friend

Okay...so...she wasn't always a good friend...but a lot of the time she was. She was fiercely loyal to Serena and gave her gems of advice such as the quote above.

She didn't settle

Blair was just confidence #goals. From her sitting at the bar alone with a martini (something i'm too self conscious to do) or meeting new people she rarely ever came across as insecure or shy.

So a toast to Blair Waldorf for being the best character ever made.

If I had to choose between going out clubbing or staying in watching the new episode of a favorite tv series..9 times out of 10 I am going to choose the tv show. I am aware of how incredibly lame that sounds but on the couple of occasions where I dipped my toe into the clubbing scene I always left so bored by it all. Perhaps I didn't go to the right places or perhaps i'm just not a clubbing girl. I'm in my 20's and these are the years where it's more acceptable to get sloshed on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night..but I just have no interest in it all. If you are a club-goer then power to you! Definitely don't judge you, just know it's not for me.

Anyway back to tv series! I love getting into a new television series. The feeling of watching a first episode and realizing "I am definitely not leaving this couch for a solid week" as you just know it's going to be a great series. As I have seen many I am going to share what are the best series to get into depending on your mood.

In the mood for having a laugh

The Inbetweeners. I could of listed many other shows (like Seinfeld, The Office, Brooklyn Nine Nine..) but The Inbetweeners is the show that has made me laugh the most. It isn't the type of laugh where you slightly chuckle and expel air out your nose (that sounds odd, I hope you know what I mean) it's the type of laugh you actually laugh out loud. This show follows the lives of four outcast British teenagers and is simply hilarious. You have the one who comes off completely pretentious and utterly sarcastic (Will), the one who is cynical and angsty (Simon), the dumb one (Neil), and the immature and crude one (Jay). This show is very very crude. So beware of watching this around parents cause they may say "what the hell are you watching". It's a very funny show though so definitely watch it if you need some cheering up.

In the mood for being freaked out

I would of suggested American Horror Story but I am still not entirely sure if I like it or not. I watch it..but..i'm still unsure on that one. So i'm going to suggest Pretty Little Liars! I am sure majority of you have heard about this show so if you haven't gotten around to watching it yet..watch it! For those of you who don't know - Pretty Little Liars is about four girls who start getting messages from an unknown person 'A' after they attend the funeral of a best friend. It can get really creepy/freaky and there are so many plot twists. The season finale just aired and it was amazing, so it would be worth watching the show just to watch that episode! Beware of watching this home alone at night time. Can creep you out to the max.

Other shows to freak you out - Dexter & Game of Thrones (yes, this show freaks me out!)

In the mood for something utterly girly

Sex and the City! I watched this for the first time last year and I love it. It's soooo girly. It follows Carrie Bradshaw who is a writer in New York and her experiences with men. You also follow her three fabulous best friends - Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda. Even though this show is quite a bit old it still remains iconic. If you haven't seen this then definitely start it! If you're 16 and under..maybe don't watch it? Wait..i'm not your mum..watch it if you want. It's probably not the show the watch in your living room - I mean unless you're okay with your siblings or parents walking in when there is a sex scene on - but lets face it..who ever is okay with that?!

Other great girly shows - Gossip Girl & Keeping up with the Kardashians

In the mood for something intelligent

Scandal! I've only started watching this recently and am already caught up. This show follows Olivia Pope who is a big deal. She used to work for the white house and deals mostly with political scandals. It also has a highly addictive story line of the romance between the president and Olivia. It's the only time i've ever routed for an affair haha. I'm terrible at explaining it..but it is a great show and makes me worship Olivia Pope who is highly intelligent and a great strong female character.

Other great shows that are more intelligent - How to get away with murder & Grey's Anatomy.

As you can see I really love my tv series. Would 100% recommend any of the shows I mentioned!

So, what are your current favourite shows? Any to recommend me??
